Summary

Due to YASA’s continued growth, we are looking for a Project Quality Leader with expert experience in IATF 16949 to come in and govern the delivery and implementation of a plan to integrate a quality management system which is compliant with IATF 16949. Part of the role will be ensuring an effective quality management system is implemented across YASA’s multiple sites, identifying key stakeholders and establishing communication channels, ensuring alignment and total project visibility. This role is for an 18-month fixed-term contract to assist in the implementation of the project.

• Defining and developing a quality management system which is compliant with IATF 16949 requirements, based on the existing ISO 9001 QMS.
• Establish measurable key performance indicators and metrics to assess current state against IATF 16949 requirements, tracking performance and addressing gaps identified to meet objectives.
• Review and construct a QMS improvement plan to prioritize actions based on criticality and potential impact on the project.
• Collect and analyse relevant data to identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective solutions to address gaps and deliver improvements.
• Develop and implement improvement strategies and action plans to address identified non-conformities and gaps in compliance with IATF 16949, delivering a robust quality management system with processes and controls that meet requirements.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to effectively achieve compliance, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively to meet project milestones and target dates.
• Construct and deliver a schedule of internal audits to assess, feedback and govern the quality management system to sustain compliance with IATF 16949 over time.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to achieve compliance across all functional areas, having interface with multiple sites.

To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need:

• To have an IATF 16949:2016 Auditor qualification and Lead Auditor experience.
• A HNC/Degree in an Engineering discipline or similar.
• Project Management experience.
• Previous experience using VDA / AIAG Core Tools.
• An excellent track record of working in an environment where IATF 16949 has been successfully deployed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to influence others along with a positive “can-do” attitude.
• To be highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• A flexible approach to work.
• The ability to work at pace in a multi-site environment.
• Full UK driver’s license.
